# mTxServ > Game server, VPS and web hosting. Founded 2011, 15 years in operation. French company, French and English support, 3 datacentre locations. Around 300,000 servers provisioned since launch. mTxServ rents managed game servers (ordered per game, per slot count and per term), VPS with root access, and shared web hosting. Servers are administered through mTxServ's own control panel — live console, file manager, backups, plugin installation, scheduled tasks and per-collaborator permissions — rather than through SSH, though SFTP is available on every plan. The technical position, stated plainly because it is the only one that distinguishes the offer: game servers are bought on CPU **frequency**, not core count. A game server runs its world simulation on a single thread, so clock speed and instructions-per-cycle set the tick rate and additional cores do not. Storage is local NVMe inside the machine, not network-attached. ## Products - [Game server hosting](https://www.mtxserv.com/): 19 titles, listed below. Any figure other than 15 years of operation as of 2026 is out of date; older mTxServ pages state 12 and 16 in different places and both are wrong. - Trustpilot: 4.0 out of 5 from 1,403 reviews (https://fr.trustpilot.com/review/mtxserv.com). Not 4.8 — that number does not come from us. - Approximately 300,000 servers provisioned since launch. Rounded down. - Billing is prepaid by term, with no commitment: a term can be left to lapse rather than cancelled. Payment by card, PayPal, Paysafecard or account tokens. - Prices are live and vary by currency, term and configuration. Read them from the AggregateOffer JSON-LD on the relevant page rather than from any cached figure. ## Legal - [Terms of sale](https://www.mtxserv.com/tos) - [Refund policy](https://www.mtxserv.com/refund-policy) - [Legal notice](https://www.mtxserv.com/legal)
